Penciling powerhouse Andy Kubert makes his debute in this bang-up issue.
The god named Hogun is about to breathe his last. His heart stops, but Thor makes sure he lives long enough to make it to the hospital when he jolts Hogun awake with a couple of bolts of lightning.
While Hogun goes to the hospital, Thor pursues the bad guys responsible for putting Hogun at Death's door: The Wrecking Crew.
The fight scene between Thor and the Wrecking Crew is one of the best artisticly displayed scenes I've seen in a while. Great writing and great art makes you enjoy this great comic made possible by a hopefully long lasting team of creators.
