Brian Michael Bendis takes a fresher look at the life and orgin of the Amazing Spider-Man in this new series penciled by ace penciler Mark Bagley.
Norman Osborn has given a spider a dose of a wonder drug. The spider gets loose and finds it's way to a certain Peter Parker. It bites his hand and soon Peter finds he has strange spider-like abilities.
Art Thibert's inks are a perfect pick for Mark Bagley's pencils, and the colors are rich and flamboyent.
A nice and promising start to a hopefully long running series.
